Benchmark Homes, Inc. became a home building company over ten years ago when friends and business associates, Craig Hill and Jim Byrne, decided that their individual companies would be stronger as a single organization. That's when Craig's framing and general contracting company merged with Jim's trim and finish carpentry business to become Benchmark Homes.

This combination has been a successful merger and blend of talents with Craig overseeing the construction of the homes until the sheetrock is applied, and Jim then taking over and supervising the trim installation and completion of the home. Benchmark Homes builds homes for young families just starting out, as well as executive-style homes. Whenever possible, they build with “energy efficiency” at the top of the priority list which should save homebuyers many dollars in utility costs over the years. When you make the largest investment decision of your life, you want to be certain that you are making it with a home builder with a successful track record.

The partners believe in making the entire construction process as stress free as possible for the homeowner, including the completion of the punch-lists after the buyer has moved into their new home. That's why they personally conduct walk-through inspections just prior to closing as well as at 6-month and 12-month intervals after closing, plus they do all of the warranty repair work themselves. Benchmark Homes is a member of the Wichita Area Builders Association.
